About Us

Located on the famed Cache River in Northeast Arkansas, Woody’s Guided Hunts consist of nearly 7,000 acres of rice, soybeans and millet. These fields are farmed and managed for premier duck hunting. Since we are farmers, we can control the flooding of our property. This allows us to utilize rain water, but never to be solely dependent on it.

Your experience on our property will be heightened by Woody’s guides and staff. Our experienced and professional guides will take you each morning before daylight, using ATV’s, and pull you right up to one of our many pit blinds. We will host the hunt as well as call and retrieve your birds while passing along our secrets of field hunting in Northeast Arkansas.

This year we will have 27 underground pits available, which gives the best opportunity for moving to a location that has the most duck activity.

Location: Woody’s Guided Hunts  is only 1 ½ hours from Memphis, TN or Little Rock, AR.

All of our fields are approximately 7 miles east of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, and scattered up and down the Cache River.

Groups: Woody’s usually hosts no more than 4 groups per day. This allows us to spread the groups out and give everyone an optimum chance to kill ducks.

Our pits are comfortable and accommodate up to 10 hunters. We easily hunt groups more than 8 by splitting up into multiple locations.

At Woody’s we only hunt mornings. This allows the birds a chance to rest. Occasionally, due to weather, we may choose to hunt all groups in the afternoon.

Our meeting facility has an exceptional area that allows you to clean your birds when the hunt is over.
